Luray Caverns
Eastern
America's largest and most popular natural
attraction;
a U.S. Natural Landmark. Explore cathedral-sized
rooms with ceilings 10 stores high filled
with ancient stone formations. Don’t
miss the Great Stalacpipe Organ, the
world's largest musical instrument. Stalactites
covering 3 1/2 acres of the surrounding
caverns produce
tones of symphonic quality when electronically
tapped by rubber-tipped mallets.

Tours begin each day at 9 a.m.
The last tour departs at:
6 p.m., from April 1 to June 14
7 p.m., from June 15 to Labor Day
6 p.m., from the day after Labor Day to October
31
4 p.m., from November 1 to March 31 (5 p.m.
on weekends).

The Car and Carriage Caravan
Museum
The Car and Carriage Caravan Museum exhibit
is a tour of milestones in transportation,
including authentically restored cars, carriages,
coaches and costumes, dating from 1725 to 1941.
The centerpiece of the collection is the 1892
Benz, one of the oldest cars in the country
still in operating condition. The Car and Carriage
Caravan Museum entrance is included with paid
admission into the Luray Caverns. It opens
at 9 a.m. daily and closes 1 1/2 hours after
the last Caverns tour.
The Garden Maze
A beautiful hedge maze with fountains, tunnels,
overlook platform and mist to cool you. Unravel
the mystery of the largest garden maze in the
Mid-Atlantic States - a one-acre ornamental
garden at Luray Caverns. Adults $6.00/ Children
$5.00 (under 12)
The Singing Tower
The Luray Singing Tower, officially known as
the Belle Brown Northcott Memorial, was erected
in 1937 opposite Luray Caverns in memory of
Colonel T.C. Northcott's wife. At 117 feet
in height, the Luray Singing Tower contains
a carillon of 47 bells. The largest bell weighs
7,640 pounds and is six feet in diameter. The
smallest weighs a mere 12 ½ pounds.
Recognized as one of the country's major carillons,
45-minute recitals are scheduled regularly
throughout the spring, summer and fall. During
April and May on Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00
p.m.; during June, July and August on Tuesdays,
Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 8:00 p.m.;
and during September and October on Saturdays
and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.

Located in Historic downtown Luray VA nestled
among the mountains of the Shenandoah Valley,
the Luray Antique Mall offers some of the finest
antiques and collectibles in the valley. With
over 30 active dealers you are sure to find
that perfect piece for your home or collection.

The Luray Zoo
The zoo
specializes in providing a home for unwanted,
abused and confiscated exotic animals. The
animals that arrive at Luray Zoo stay here.
They can have confidence that they will not
be traded, sold or bred to for sale. The zoo
houses and cares for over 250 animals all with
there own special story. When you visit Luray
Zoo your admission goes directly to the animals.
The money helps us build new homes for them,
feed them and any other care or medical needs
that they may require. The Zoo receives NO
government funding.

Main Streets of Yesteryear
New Market- Experience the nostalgia as you
wind your way down our Main Street at Shenandoah
Caverns. See windows filled with colorful collections
of fully animated antique department store
displays. Admission Included with Shenandoah
Cavern Ticket.
New Market Battle Field State Historical Park
New Market- Spend the day at the New Market
Battlefield State Historical Park and enjoy
the museum, explore the historic farm, scenic
Shenandoah River overlooks, picnic spots and
walking trails. The park, a National Historic
Landmark, is open 9-5 daily, year round (closed
Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Day, and
New Year's Day). Adults $10/ Children $6.00

Hunting and Fishing, Canoe Outfitters
and Guide Service
Long's Outfitters have more than 25 years
of experience hunting whitetail deer, black
bear,
and wild turkey. As professional outdoorsmen,
avid hunters and outfitters we will guide you
deep into the hollows and ridges of the Blue
Ridge Mountains, into the meadows of the Shenandoah
Valley, and also into the rough rugged terrain
of the Massanutten Mountains. You can hunt
Big Game as well as Small Game during regular
seasons without additional fees. Long's Hunting
and Fishing Outfitters Guides will drift you
into rapids or calm deep holes of the Shenandoah
River, in pursuit of the aggressive Small Mouth
Bass, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout and Catfish.
For those who prefer to Fly fish we can drift
you to some of the finest "rapids" known
on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River.
